Now the, I have the Black Jack has been thoroughly road tested, I am able to say it has taken care of my two most basic needs: Looks cool, and I have mobile email calendar ect, with Good link system.

But a few flaws have got me thinking I will be exchanging for an iPhone in the not so distant future.

Flaw 1: Windows! The phone act just like my desktop, frequently freezing up for apparent reason that requires a power reboot. Though now the phone has broken in the need to reboot has  dissipated, go figure.

Flaw 2:Durabilty, I have developed a cracked screen through some normal use mixing remote and phone together (don't ask) I am sure the good people at Samsung would point to this as user miss-hap which is true but I would challenge them to develop product that could weather normal male abuse in everyday usage.

My overall assessment it's not a bad phone especially now that prices are dropping, however for a Smart Phone I would expect something more. I do like the camera feature, and found myself using the camera much more then I could have imagined spontaneously snappy pic's of car and pets that strike my fancy.

I still have my Kyocera 'Brick' as a standard to beat for Smart Phones However. Not much in style department but functionality and durability made me grow to love it as an everyday business and personal tool. My search goes on for a replacement. The Samsung Black Jack is a good stopgap, However, I will be looking to upgrade in the next 6 month or so to something better, next generation iPhone possibly.
