Need Help Making Backup Copy Of Pcmcia Linear Flash Card For Newton 2100

I have recently purchased a PCMCIA type II linear flash card for use with my newton 2100 loaded with really cool software/tools/games. i got it from a website called www.gementerprises.com and they were really helpful with telling me how to use it, but they can't (or i suspect won't) help me with making a backup copy (i think they suspect i'm trying to copy them and cut in on their business) but really all i want to do is make sure that i don't ever have to order another one. (i can handle spending the money once, but not twice).

i have a thinkpad t42 and i can get the cards to show up in My Computer as separate disk drives (ie. E:\, F:\) but when i try to access them i get the error message "E:\ is not accessible" and "Incorrect Function" (likewise for F:\). This is where I'm stuck. Please help.

I need to know how to back this data up to my computer, and then how to re-copy back to the flash card if/when the need may arise.
