Hi


Please can anyone tell me how I can get a  1gb  SD card to work in a Navman PiN 570?  I have loaded the card with Memory Map O/S Ver 5 southern England and it will not start up,all that happens is the box comes up with the world turning round (cursor). I have got Wales loaded on a 512mb SD card and this works well. My hobby is offroading, so it will be better for me to run a pda rather than the laptop that I run at the moment.

Hi Dennis,

First of all, WELCOME TO PDABUZZ.  I hope the information you find here is helpful.  I've tried to research this for you and it could be that your device is not compatible with your SD card.  I found that Transcend and Kingston 2GB have known to work.  Maybe you can return that 1GB card you have and opt for either these brands.
