Ppc6700 Stylus Falling Out

Does anyone have any suggestions for the loose stylus in the PPC6700 by Sprint? Right now I have a piece of tape around the top to keep it in there. Also, is anyone experiencing the slow performance after installing the SPB Pocket Plus software that pdablast.com recommends:

After installing it on my PPC it slowed down. I've heard that a registry tweak can fix it.
