Hi All,

I have been looking around the net for a while searching for more info about my Vtech Helio. Almost all the information and tools are unavailable. (lucky i made backups).

I still have the IDE, SDK, VTOS-Source and the supplied pdf programmer guides.

I want to use my vtech to build a robot controller using its 75mhz processor and the fast serial I/O port (SIO). I found out the port uses a SPI interface and can reach 3,5 mbps.

I remember something from then that the fast serial port is not working in vtos. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Is there a fix for this? Or does the linux version support the fast serial port?

Can any supply me with some info about the helio i don't have yet? I would really like do use it again after these years.

On the vhl sourceforge discussion they mentioned there was more info to find on this forum about the helio's specs. If anyone knows chipsets protocols schematics etc i would really love to know.

Anyone who could help me or knows someone who would?
