T3 Dropped In The Ocean!

Yep. That's right. I dropped it in the ocean. To be specific, it fell
out of my shirt pocket into the surf when I bent over (forgetting about
it). I've had the T3 for 2 years (almost) and loved it. So what do I do
now. As far as I can tell, the T3 is dead. Stone dead. I did take it
straight up to the surf livesaving club toilets and rinsed the salt
water off but it is full of sand and is dead.

So now to buy another PDA I guess. The only things I didn't like about
my T3 were the graffiti and the slide-it-open feature. I always used my
T3 fully opened and sometimes it would slide shut on me when I was
lying in bed reading an ebook. To improve the graffiti, I put graffiti
1 on it but I was never real good at making the letters carefully
enough to make it recognise what I wanted all the time (on a side note,
my daughter has a IPAQ which recognises her handwriting).

I just had a look at the TX. What do you think everyone? Should I go for the TX? Or should I switch to a Windows pocket PC?

The apps I use the most are Datebk 5 and Smart List To Go. I also use
Docs to Go, Versa Mail, Mobipocket ebook reader. I realise that if I
jump ship and go over to the "dark side", I would not be able to use
Datebk 5 or Smart List To Go.

I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this. I am going to be totally LOST without my Palm!
