Prob With Palm Sync, Should I Change Products?

Hi! I am new to the discussion, but I have a problem. I have been working for almost a month to try and resolve some sort of a software conflict with my Palm M130. I have a laptop running XP home and after a dozen re-installs and going through the troubleshooting guide about a hundred times from Palm, I can't get it to work.

Palm doesn't offer any help whatsoever unless I pay for a phone call.

I have had Palm for many years now, but I am so dissapointed, I am about to give up on them.

I know this is the software forum, but if anyone suggests a different PDA product (HP, Sony, etc.) please do so! If anyone has dealt with this problem and has suggestions, it would be great as well.
