I will mainly use it for contacts, storing recipes and to do lists. I'd like to be able to access the internet via a PDA also. Any suggestions on brand and model? thanks,

Sounds like any of the lower end PDA's will do as long as you have WiFi for the internet. I look into which operating systen you would like Palm or Micrsoft.
