I am a nursing student and will need to purcahse a PDA to have access to Drug guides,Medicine PDR and maybe load a few books and dictionary in the PDA. It will need to be updated on a regular basis (new drugs all the time).

College offers a deal on: Palm TX,Tungsten E2 and HPiPaq rx1955. I was told to look at memory and processor speed.

I am clueless...I can do minor surgery and start and IV but I can't figure this out...HELP Please.

I know the Tungsten has been a good work horse for a few years now but may want to see what other users have to say.

Besides stating the obvious, select a handheld that your medical software needs to run on.  Other than that, TX has a faster processing power.  TX has 128MB but only about 100MB available for use.

If considering an E2 vs the TX get the E2 if you don't need Wi-Fi or a bigger screen or able to afford the higher price.
