Synchrologic has posted a recent AP article titled Blackberry Maker Look To Retain Edge. While most RIM press has been centered on the patent litigation issues, the Blackberry builder also has business pressures to keep in focus."But the executives, Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie, may not be seeing clearly enough beyond their realm. The skeptics believe that within a year or so, RIM will be struggling to keep up with big-time device makers like Nokia Corp., Dell Inc. and Palm Inc. that crave bigger chunks of the business market RIM has all but dominated. In such a scenario, RIM might have to slow those BlackBerry assembly lines and focus instead on carrying e-mail to other devices, a potentially painful comedown."Click "Read More" to read the whole story... palmOne has posted a ROM update for the Palm Tungsten T3. This update addresses reported problems with the SD card slot and with the audio system as well. If you've had a problem with an SD card and reformatting that card doesn't fix the problem, palmOne suggests you contact the card manufacturer. To quote palmOne, "If the card has been or continues to be unresponsive after taking both of these steps, please contact the SD Card manufacturer directly as there are issues with the card that palmOne cannot correct." In other words, palmOne isn't replacing cards that don't work. (News)
